NDIS & Purchase Orders — Sensory Tools for Participants Across Australia

My Sensory Space is proud to support NDIS participants, plan managers, and support coordinators across Australia. We carry 400+ sensory products that may be eligible for NDIS funding under Improved Daily Living and Consumables support categories — including sensory hairbrushes, weighted items, fidget tools, chew pendants, u-shaped toothbrushes, and more.

Whether you're plan-managed, agency-managed, or self-managed, we make the process as simple as possible.

Step 1 — Add items to your NDIS cart On any product page, scroll to the bottom and tap the green ADD TO NDIS/PURCHASE ORDER CART button. Repeat for each item you'd like to include.

Step 2 — Submit your order Complete your details at checkout. You'll receive an email with your invoice shortly after.

Step 3 — Forward to your plan manager Send the invoice directly to your plan manager or support coordinator for payment. Please ensure the draft order number is referenced in the payment.

Step 4 — We process and ship Once payment is received we process and ship within 2–5 business days. Please note: quotes are held for 10 days, after which the order is cancelled. NDIS payments are subject to NDIS approval.

Alternatively, if you wish, you may order and pay directly from our online store. Once you have paid you will be issued a full Tax Invoice that you can then use to claim potential funding. Please note this funding approval is solely at the discretion of the NDIS. My Sensory Space is not responsible for non-approved purchases and therefore the customer must be aware that they then bare the cost of purchase. 

 

Important: We are unable to hold stock until payment is received. Please allow additional time if items need to be ordered or if substitutions are required for out-of-stock products.

Self-Managed Participants

If you are self-managed, you're welcome to purchase directly through our online store. Once payment is made, you'll receive a full tax invoice which you can use to claim reimbursement through the NDIS portal.

What Products Are NDIS Eligible?

Many of our products may be claimable under the following NDIS support categories:

  • Consumables (Core Supports) — sensory chews, fidget tools, toothbrushes, slime, activity kits
  • Improved Daily Living — weighted blankets, sensory hairbrushes, grooming tools
  • Assistive Technology — weighted lap pads, sensory tools recommended by OTs

We recommend checking with your plan manager or occupational therapist to confirm eligibility for your specific plan. Our products are used and recommended by occupational therapists, speech therapists, and early intervention teams Australia-wide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my NDIS funding to buy sensory toys? Yes — many sensory tools may be claimable under your NDIS plan, particularly under the Consumables or Improved Daily Living categories. Always confirm with your plan manager or OT first.

Do you provide a tax invoice? Yes. All NDIS and purchase orders include a full tax invoice suitable for plan managers and NDIS claims.

How long does processing take? Once payment is received, orders are processed and shipped within 2–7 business days Australia-wide.

Can schools and therapy practices submit purchase orders? Absolutely. We accept purchase orders from schools, therapy clinics, early intervention centres, and government organisations. Contact us at support@sensoryspace.com.au for bulk orders or invoicing enquiries.

Do you ship Australia-wide? Yes — we ship to all states and territories across Australia. We're based on the Gold Coast, QLD.

What if an item is out of stock? We will contact you and arrange a suitable alternative where possible. Please allow additional time for items that need to be ordered.
